Apartment M
For Apartment M, Ebba collaborated with Mouche Collective to style a classical Gothenburg apartment as a showroom and a setting for PR and editorial photography. The apartment’s ornate detailing provided the starting point, with furniture and objects chosen to bring a contemporary perspective to the rooms.
Sculptural furniture sits alongside bespoke pieces in a mix of materials and textures. Custom marble cubes and a substantial coffee table form the centre of the arrangement, their simple shapes contrasting with the decorative architecture. These pieces give the rooms a strong focal point while leaving space to appreciate the original details.
Soft textiles and a muted palette balance the weight of the stone. Smaller objects add variety and a personal feel, creating arrangements that work both as part of the room and in close-up photographs. The intention was to make the showroom feel inviting, with the ease of a home and enough definition for each piece to be seen and appreciated.
The project reflects Ebba’s interest in the relationship between architecture and furnishing. Working with the character of the existing rooms, the styling brings together expressive forms and familiar comforts in a setting designed to be experienced in person and through images.
